Reflection in Potsdam

Charlotte Herzeel and I had been invited by Robert Hirschfeld to give presentations at the Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam, Germany about the CLOS Metaobject Protocol and 3-Lisp about two weeks ago. These presentations have been recorded and are now online for your viewing pleasure:

You need RealPlayer to see this.

Is there anywhere you could see the accompanying slides? The audio quality is really great, but the lack of slides and the insanely close shot with not a trace of what's been shown makes the talks really rather impossible to follow.

That is weird. When I open the links in Safari, I see both us giving the presentations and the slides at the same time. Maybe you have to resize your window?

Using Linux/Firefox/MPlayer I do not get the slides either. Are they available for download?

No, the slides are not available for download. Please try to use RealPlayer for Linux instead.

Realplayer (10.0.8.805 (gold)) under GNU/Linux does indeed produce a nice layout between video and slides.

Realplayer 10.0.6.1386 (experimental) on my Sun Solaris system produced a severely broken layout with three small video streams, leaving too little space for the slides with only the left third or so of them visible.

The talk seems nice, but since I know CLOS quite well, I was looking for feedback/discussion at the end (of which there isn't any :-).

Anyway, thanks a lot for putting this online!
